WHO and partners have developed new National Immunization Strategy (NIS) guidance, aimed at guiding immunization stakeholder action over the next decade. The NIS is designed for better integration of immunization with other health interventions and national planning cycles, a focus on long term goals with intermediary objectives and prioritized strategies, country ownership with inclusive design processes, and a tailored approach to local and national contexts.
